About

AKIL AI is a non-commercial research project developed by an independent AI researcher. It is not a company or a product: there are no fees, no ads and no data sales.

What is being researched

• How natural and helpful an AI assistant can be in conversation in Turkish.
• How accurate and up to date answers can be made with web search.
• The effect of "thinking" before answering (AKIL Think) on hard questions; photo understanding and spoken answers.

What it can do

• AKIL Fast answers quickly. AKIL Think thinks before answering and has Low, Medium and High levels.
• For questions that need current information, it searches the web and shows the sources it used.
• It can interpret the photos you send and read its answers aloud.
• Because this is an experimental project, you may have to wait in line at busy times and it may sometimes be unavailable.

Principles

• Your chats are stored only in your own browser; they are not kept on the server and are not used to train models. Details are on the Privacy page.
• Signing in is optional: without signing in you can ask 7 questions per 24 hours.
• Answers may be wrong; we recommend checking anything important.

Developer

AKIL AI is developed by an independent AI researcher. The goal of the project is to explore how natural, accurate and reliable a Turkish-speaking AI assistant can be.
